Abandoned Synopsis: This dark tale of a woman searching for her boyfriend after he mysteriously vanishes from the hospital marks the last screen appearance by the late actress Brittany Murphy.

Abandoned follows Mary Walsh (Murphy) as she delivers boyfriend Kevin (Dean Cain) to a hospital for a routine outpatient surgery. But when Mary returns to take him home, he is nowhere to be found. The hospital administrator (Mimi Rogers) can’t find any record of him, and a police search turns up nothing.

Abandoned will be released to theaters on August 24 2010. Watch the trailer below.
